Design partners

We build products with partners, not projects for clients

Some problems are shared by hundreds of institutions and solved well by none of them. When a partner brings us one, we build it as a product on the MoneyStream platform, with their team in the loop from the first week. Then we run it, support it and keep improving it.

The pattern

How an engagement works

1

Start with one real workflow

A process your people live with every day: reviewing a loan file, checking an application for missing documents, comparing what a borrower sent with what policy requires. One workflow, real documents, a clear definition of done.

2

Working software, early

We build on our own platform, where identity, audit, document intelligence and the AI tooling already exist. You see the workflow running from start to finish early on, not a slide deck about it.

3

Your team configures and reviews

Rules, thresholds and review steps are settings your team controls. AI agents do the reading and checking. Your people handle the exceptions. The system records who decided what, and why.

4

It becomes a product

MoneyStream owns, operates and supports the product, and keeps improving it for every institution that uses it. Design partners get it first, shape the roadmap and receive preferred terms. Partners who bring a product to their own network share in its success.

The split

What each side brings

You bring

  • A workflow that matters, and the people who know it
  • Realistic documents and data (scrubbed is fine)
  • A sponsor who can say yes to a pilot
  • Often, a network of institutions with the same problem

We bring

  • A production platform with identity and access, metering and billing, document intelligence, versioned AI tooling and an audit ledger
  • A small senior team that has run lending technology at scale
  • Hosting, security, support and ongoing development

Where it runs

Why it runs on our platform

Building inside a bank's infrastructure means waiting on environments, approvals and integration queues before anyone learns whether the idea works. We run the product on our own platform first, with each customer's data kept separate, access controlled by role, and an audit trail of who changed what. Once it has proved itself, we connect it to your systems.

Current focus

What we're building now

Our current focus is configurable human-in-the-loop review: workflows where AI agents read, check and prepare the work, people make the judgment calls, and every step is recorded. It sits beside our extraction and cash flow products, and it is being shaped with design partners in banking and lending.

Is this you?

Where this works, and where it doesn't

A good fit if

  • The problem is shared by many institutions, not only yours
  • The work is document-heavy and needs human judgment at the edges
  • You need an audit trail as much as you need speed
  • You can put a real team and real documents behind a pilot

Not a fit if

  • You need staff augmentation, or a one-off build we won't operate
  • The goal is a demo, not production use
  • The work is outside financial services

We work with a small number of design partners at a time, so we can do each one properly.
